To connect your Twitch channel to the widget, please provide me: 🫧 Twitch Client ID (not client secret) 🫧 Twitch Access TokenStep 1: Create or open your Twitch Application 1) Go to https://dev.twitch.tv/console/apps 2) Sign in with your Twitch account. 3) Click “Register Your Application” (or open an existing one if you already have it).
4) Copy the same values for all fields and change the name of your application.
Step 2: Get your credentials 1) Once created, click on "Manage" for your app → you’ll see: Client ID (copy this)
2) Click “New Secret” → copy the Client Secret temporarily.
3) Once you have your Client ID and Client Secret, open this official Twitch URL — just paste it into your browser’s address bar (you can copy-paste this whole line): https://id.twitch.tv/oauth2/token?client_id=YOUR_CLIENT_ID&client_secret=YOUR_CLIENT_SECRET&grant_type=client_credentials- Before pressing Enter, replace YOUR_CLIENT_ID and YOUR_CLIENT_SECRET with the exact values you copied from your Twitch app.4) After you press Enter, you’ll see a small block of text that looks like this:{ "access_token": "qwertyuiop1234567890example", "expires_in": 5184000, "token_type": "bearer" }- Copy the access token provided.
